Send my transcript to the MiM program?
Transcripts are considered official if they are sent directly to us through secure electronic delivery (preferred method) or mailed in an original sealed envelope from your previous institution.
- Electronic delivery: Ask your institution to send transcripts to mimprogram@georgetown.edu. If your institution uses Parchment: Digital Credential Service or National Student Clearinghouse, search for Georgetown McDonough School of Business – Specialized Masters Program.
- Paper copies: Mail in a sealed envelope to:

Get my NetID and Temporary Password?
Your NetID and temporary password are located on your decision letter. Credentials take 1–3 business days to load. If you still do not see them by the fourth business day after receiving your decision, contact mimprogram@georgetown.edu.
Get access to my email?
After updating your password by following the Georgetown Email Setup instructions, go to www.gmail.com and log in using your email address (YourNetID@georgetown.edu) and your new password.
Make a deposit or tuition payment?l(On all pages)
Deposit: Use the deposit button on your decision letter in the application portal. A button is also available at the top right corner of this webpage.
Tuition: Go to the Office of Revenue and Receivables website and select How Do I… Make a payment? According to the Office of Revenue and Receivables Student Billing Calendar, tuition bills are typically issued around June 16 (dates may vary) and due on August 22, unless you are enrolled in a payment plan.

Set up a payment plan?
Payment plans can be arranged through the Office of Revenue and Receivables website under How Do I… Sign up for a payment plan? According to the Office of Revenue and Receivables Student Billing Calendar, enrollment usually runs from June 16 to September 4.

Register for classes?
You will be automatically registered for all classes except the Module 4 elective. The program office will contact you during the spring semester with details on choosing and registering for your elective. To see an overview of your courses, review the MiM Curriculum Map.
Browse alternative classes?
In Module 1, advanced courses (Foundations of Modeling and Financial Statements Analysis) are available in lieu of Managerial Statistics 1 and Accounting Fundamentals. Based on your undergraduate major, prior coursework, or professional experience, you may request to be placed in these advanced courses. However, you may also opt to remain in Managerial Statistics I and Accounting Fundamentals, the advanced courses are not required, even if you qualify based on prior experience.
Find an on-campus job?
Students are eligible to apply for on-campus roles after they arrive on campus on August 3rd. Many on-campus jobs will be posted as students begin arriving in August, with start dates varying by office. Keep in mind that most programs begin classes later in August, which often influences when offices post their job openings. You can see the types of jobs offered through the Office of Student Employment website.
Find a good area to live?
The academic building at 111 Massachusetts Ave NW is a 10-minute walk from both Union Station and Judiciary Square Metro stations on the Red Line. For more affordable housing, consider neighborhoods along the Red Line.
Get my I-20?
