Financial Aid Information
Apply for Financial Aid
For Domestic Students:
To apply for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Georgetown University FAFSA School Code: 001445
- Recommended Application Deadlines:
- Incoming graduate students: February 1
- Continuing graduate students: January 15
We encourage you to adhere to the recommended application deadlines listed above to ensure that you receive your award information in a timely manner but note that these are not hard deadlines. You are eligible to apply for financial aid at any point during the academic year.
If you are a prospective or incoming graduate student, we encourage you to complete your FAFSA at the same time that you complete your admissions application.
Your initial financial aid package is based on your program’s normative credit hour structure. If summer enrollment is included in this structure, your financial aid package will cover educational expenses for the fall, spring, and summer semesters. If summer enrollment is not part of your program’s normative credit hour structure and you enroll during the summer semester and seek financial aid consideration, you are required to complete a Georgetown University Graduate Summer Aid Application. Note, the MiM program does not include summer semesters.
Review this information on the Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS) website.
